About the position

The Mobile Integration Engineer will play a crucial role in developing the infrastructure within the Enterprise Information Technology Services (EITS) to facilitate a successful integration between TeleMessage and Microsoft 365. This position is fully remote and requires US citizenship. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and building complex information technology systems and infrastructures, conducting thorough analyses, and evaluating a variety of complex IT tools. The role involves handling user requests for unique or complex system needs and upgrades, which may require additional research and innovative solutions. In this position, you will implement various applications of a highly complex nature and administer complex tests on operating systems and related software. You will also be responsible for scheduling, performing, and monitoring system backups, and when necessary, executing data recoveries. A significant part of your role will involve performing root cause analysis and diagnostics on unique or complex production systems, identifying opportunities for process improvements, and collaborating with team members to implement efficiencies. As a Mobile Integration Engineer, you will actively engage in the planning and design of new platforms, integrating new technologies into the existing infrastructure. You will evaluate new technologies and releases, conduct cost analyses of proposed new or upgraded platforms, and maintain relevant systems documentation and user guides. Additionally, you will act as a mentor to junior team members, providing guidance and expertise on troubleshooting unique or complex problems, and applying scripting methodologies to automate related tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build complex information technology and systems infrastructures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's Degree preferred.
  • 7-10 years of experience in information technology, systems administration, or other IT-related fields.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems including Microsoft Windows, Windows Servers, Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex system hardware, software, or networking-related problems.
  • Mobile development and system infrastructure skills are needed.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and to translate technical terminology into terms understandable to non-technical employees.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior experience with TeleMessage App is a plus.
