About the position
Managed Mobile is seeking an Advanced Level Technician with extensive experience in diagnosing and repairing medium/heavy-duty trucks. The technician will work independently from a fully equipped service vehicle, performing scheduled repairs and adhering to safety protocols. The role is crucial in delivering safe, compliant, and reliable fleets, aligning with the company's mission and core values of honesty and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections, troubleshooting, diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on medium and heavy-duty trucks covering all major vehicle systems.
- Perform trailer repair work, including PMs and minimal repairs when necessary.
- Repair equipment such as lift gates and Power Take Off (PTO) units, along with some transmission units and hydraulic hoses.
- Operate a fully equipped mobile service vehicle to provide on-site services at customer locations.
- Adapt to various tasks throughout the day based on evolving business needs and priorities.
- Be available and flexible to work an average of 8-10 hours of overtime per week.
Requirements
- Valid Drivers License and clean driving record.
- Must be able to pass drug and background checks.
- Mobile Truck Technician experience - at least 2 years.
- Skilled mastery in troubleshooting and computer diagnostics.
- Ability to weld is preferred.
- Journeyman level repair experience on Class 6-8 diesel engines.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience as an advanced-level mechanic/technician.
