About the position

The Mobile Mission Guest Concierge at the Waterfront Rescue Mission is responsible for managing day-to-day operations to support ministry staff in their teaching, counseling, and preaching activities. This role involves engaging with guests and clients, ensuring safety and compliance with policies, and providing a welcoming environment. The position requires a commitment to Christian values and the ability to handle various operational tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage all guests and clients entering Mission property in a friendly and professional manner.
• Maintain situational awareness to identify and monitor suspicious activity and safety hazards.
• Enforce access control and visitor management policies at assigned locations.
• Adhere to and enforce all WRM rules, regulations, procedures, and standards of conduct.
• Maintain professional relationships with vendors and contractors visiting Mission property.
• Monitor the WRM vendor check-in and check-out log.
• Observe and monitor entry and exit locations at the Mission.
• Assist with de-escalation of client and/or guest-related conflicts.
• Assist with client check-in and check-out processes.
• Provide additional Mission support as necessary.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 0 to 2 years of related experience in Concierge Support of Social Work Related Programs or equivalent.
• Valid government-issued driver's license and insurable by WRM's insurance carrier.
• Ability to exemplify and model Christian behaviors and values.
• Skilled or willing to be trained in verbal and non-violent conflict de-escalation techniques.
