About the position

The Mobile Phlebotomist role involves traveling to various locations to collect blood samples from elderly or compromised patients. This position is crucial for ensuring patient care and requires a reliable individual with experience in phlebotomy, particularly with challenging blood draws.

Responsibilities

• Traveling to assigned location(s) to collect patient samples
• Properly verify patient identity and label specimens appropriately
• Process specimens and prepare for transport to the laboratory
• Complete and accurately maintain all logs and documentation prior to the end of shift
• Follow all company policies, infection control, OSHA & HIPAA guidelines

Requirements

• 2 years of phlebotomy experience
• At least 6 months of experience in geriatric or difficult blood draws
• Open availability and ability to start working as early as 0200
• Clean background & MVR
• Driver's License & Vehicle insurance
• Reliable transportation and smartphone
• Positive attitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• Strong attention to detail
• Superior bedside manner
• Ability to pass drug screen
