About the position

The Mobile QA Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of Native iOS, Android, and web applications within a not-for-profit organization. This position involves collaborating with the IT department and business units to validate that applications meet user expectations and adhere to functional and design specifications. The role requires a proactive approach to testing in a fast-paced agile environment, focusing on both manual and automated testing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Estimate, prioritize, and plan testing activities to ensure good test coverage in an agile environment.
  • Help manage and lead the transition to QA automation.
  • Validate that user expectations are met during the testing process and that deliverables meet specifications.
  • Perform end-to-end regression testing to ensure code readiness for deployment.
  • Participate in Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Identify gaps in the systems under test and suggest improvements to the QA process.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of QA Analyst experience on Native applications for iOS and Android as well as websites/mobile sites.
  • Experience with Mobile In/Internal Application Testing.
  • Strong experience with Web Services/API Testing (Postman, SoapUI, Cucumber, etc.).
  • Experience in data validation and a good grasp of SQL.
  • Knowledge of Selenium, SOAP, XML, HTML, CSS.
  • Familiarity with Confluence and Jira, as well as Zephyr.
  • Experience working within an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Strong communication skills and experience leading the Mobile QA Testing process.
  • Experience validating integrated components between Salesforce systems and other ancillary applications.
