About the position

The Quality Assurance Engineer at iHomefinder will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of the Max product, a lead conversion tool for real estate professionals. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance and testing on enterprise-level applications. The engineer will work closely with a Scrum team, including a Product Owner, Scrum Master, and Software Engineers, to design and execute test plans, identify defects, and implement test automation frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Quickly understand and become an expert in the complex and highly-configurable Max product.
  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for new and existing features.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner, Scrum Master, and Software Engineers to understand requirements and design comprehensive test strategies.
  • Lead the implementation of test automation frameworks and tools such as WebdriverIO and Appium to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
  • Perform both manual and automated testing to ensure high-quality product releases.
  • Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily scrums, sprint review, and retrospectives.
  • Provide clear and concise documentation and reporting on testing activities and results.
  • Other duties as requested by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in software quality assurance working on a large-scale, enterprise level mobile application.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience with test automation tools such as WebdriverIO and Appium.
  • Ability to understand complex software products and identify test requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the real estate technology industry.
  • Experience working as the sole QA Engineer on a Scrum Team.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools.
