About the position

The Mobile Recall Technician plays a vital role in the recall management operations of the Mobile Recall Team, focusing on executing product recalls efficiently and effectively. This position requires extensive travel across the greater Houston area to perform inspections, repairs, and replacements of recalled products, ensuring compliance with safety standards. The technician must possess strong mechanical skills and excellent communication abilities to liaise with clients and team members.

Responsibilities

• Travel extensively to client locations to assist in the recall process.
• Perform inspections, repairs, and replacements of recalled products.
• Maintain accurate records of all activities, including product inspections, repairs, and replacements.
• Liaise with clients, team members, and management to provide updates on recall progress and address any issues or concerns.
• Stay up-to-date with product specifications and recall guidelines.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues encountered during the recall process.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or relevant vocational training preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel extensively, often on short notice.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Physical fitness for lifting and moving heavy equipment, if required.
• BMW and Mercedes-Benz experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Automotive repair experience (1 year preferred).
