About the position

The Mobile Software Developer position at CGI Federal involves developing and maintaining applications for the Sunflower Assets product suite, an enterprise-level asset management solution. The role supports various projects within the Federal government and requires collaboration within a high-performing agile team. The successful candidate will contribute to enhancing existing applications and developing new features, ensuring effective communication and project completion in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain both new and existing applications.
• Troubleshoot software defects and enhance existing applications.
• Develop new solutions in line with the overall architecture of the application landscape.
• Collaborate with a high-performing multi-site agile team.
• Communicate effectively with non-technical staff and interdisciplinary teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a similar major with extensive technical content.
• 2 to 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Experience developing native mobile applications on Android and iOS platforms.
• Proficiency in C#, Java, JavaScript, REST, JSON, and SQL.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative agile environment.
• Strong commitment to quality.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Angular, PL/SQL, SQLite, VB.Net, HTML, XML, Xamarin, MAUI.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Postman.
• Experience with Visual Studio, IntelliJ Idea, VS Code.
• Knowledge of Azure Dev Ops, Microsoft SharePoint, Jenkins, Git.
• Experience using Microservices Architecture for REST-based web services.
• Experience with Agile software development projects.
