About the position

The Mobile Software Developer at Nextech is responsible for developing and maintaining internal business applications using cross-platform mobile technologies, primarily within the .NET framework and web-based systems. This full-time role offers significant opportunities for professional growth, continuous learning, and hands-on experience with the latest mobile and web API development technologies, focusing on creating seamless, high-performance applications that meet user needs.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and optimizes mobile applications using Xamarin, .NET MAUI, and modern web API technologies.
• Builds and consumes RESTful APIs for mobile application functionality.
• Ensures the delivery of high-quality software through both manual and automated testing processes.
• Conducts code reviews, refactor code for optimization, and perform performance tuning to enhance app efficiency.
• Participates in Agile development activities, including task breakdown, estimation, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to align development efforts with business needs.
• Other related duties, as assigned.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET.
• Professional experience with Xamarin or Maui mobile development.
• Experience with T-SQL and database interactions.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and workflows.
• Proficient in Git for version control and collaborative development.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Highly motivated, self-driven, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team and manage coordination with other developers.
• Strong communication skills and an eagerness to learn and take on responsibility.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or a related technical field is required. Alternatively, six years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a software developer.
