About the position

The Mobile Software Developer position at CGI Federal involves developing and maintaining applications for the Sunflower Assets product suite, an enterprise-level asset management solution. The role supports various projects within the Federal government and requires collaboration within a high-performing agile team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to innovate and contribute to the development of new features while ensuring quality and effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain new and existing applications.
• Troubleshoot software defects and enhance existing applications.
• Work on the Sunflower Assets product suite to improve asset management solutions.
• Collaborate with a multi-site agile team to deliver coherent solutions.
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and non-technical staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a similar field with extensive technical content.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in C#, Java, JavaScript, REST, JSON, and SQL.
• Experience developing native mobile applications on Android and iOS platforms.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical staff.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative agile environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Angular, PL/SQL, VB.Net, C++, HTML, XML, Xamarin-Forms, MAUI.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Postman, Bootstrap.
• Experience with Visual Studio, IntelliJ Idea, VS Code.
• Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, GitHub/Bitbucket.
• Experience with ERP Software and Microservices Architecture for REST-based web services.
• Experience with Agile software development projects.
