About the position

The Community School Based Behavioral Health Professional/Mobile Therapist at Beacon Light Behavioral Health System is responsible for coordinating treatment for an assigned caseload. This role involves delivering individual, family, and group psychotherapy directly to clients in community and school settings. The therapist will provide child-centered, family-focused services aimed at establishing healthy community connections and social interactions, ultimately delivering strength-based intensive therapeutic services to children and families.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate treatment for assigned caseloads.
  • Deliver individual, family, and group psychotherapy directly to clients.
  • Provide family therapy and behavioral management as needed.
  • Aid families in establishing healthy community connections and social interactions.
  • Link families to natural and community supports.
  • Deliver services in settings other than a provider agency or office.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a clinical discipline with practicum/internship credits and 2 years' experience in a CASSP systems program.
  • Licensed as a Social Worker, psychologist, professional counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Clinical Social Worker in Pennsylvania with 2 years' experience in a CASSP systems program.
  • Certification as a National Board Certified counselor with 2 years' experience in a CASSP system.
