Mobility Administrator ( AirWatch MDM )

About the position

The Mobility Administrator (AirWatch MDM) is responsible for managing the Mobile Device Management (MDM) platform, specifically AirWatch. This role involves overseeing upgrades, monitoring performance, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with corporate standards and policies. The administrator will also manage device security, application management, and maintain disaster recovery environments to support business continuity.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 and 3 end user support.
• Support MDM solutions, specifically AirWatch MDM.
• Manage device inventory including procurement, deployment, and decommissioning.
• Ensure device security through containerization and compliance policies.
• Oversee mobile application management and approved application store management.
• Manage relationships with mobile carriers and their services.
• Engineer mobility solutions including next generation MDM platforms.
• Maintain on-premises server MDM infrastructure and connectivity to Workspace ONE cloud tenant.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a financial institution.
• Strong knowledge of VMware Workspace ONE (AirWatch) with 3+ years of experience.
• Project management experience of 2+ years with full project life cycle involvement.
• Expertise in Workspace ONE UEM and Workspace ONE Access.
• Knowledge of Apple DEP/ABM/VPP/APNS and Android EMM.

Nice-to-haves

• O365 / Federated authentication knowledge.
• General understanding of certificates and APIs.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow for incident management and reporting.
• Windows server administration experience.
