About the position

The Marketing Communications Manager for Eaton's Mobility group is responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing strategies and demand generation activities on a global scale. This pivotal role involves collaboration with commercial leaders, business units, and sales teams to position Eaton as a thought leader in power management challenges, particularly in the automotive and commercial vehicle sectors. The manager will lead a team of 7, oversee campaign development, and ensure alignment with Eaton's strategic growth objectives while managing budgets and resources effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Develop integrated marketing strategies that build engagement and trust with customers in the Mobility segment.
  • Create integrated marketing campaigns that drive profitable wins and support the Mobility Group's strategic plan.
  • Develop campaign content and audience engagement strategies, collaborating with commercial leaders.
  • Manage budget details, including Profit Plan prioritization and monthly accounting with Finance.
  • Coordinate corporate resources and branding standards to maintain a consistent Eaton image.
  • Lead the development of segment message maps and buyer journey maps.
  • Optimize integrated campaign journeys based on data-informed insights.
  • Support buyers across their buying journey with relevant content through digital channels and sales engagements.
  • Define campaign success metrics and review cadence to ensure demand generation objectives are met.
  • Collaborate with sales and business units to optimize campaigns based on engagement data.
  • Oversee the creation of sales enablement materials for effective demand conversion.
  • Ensure marketing campaigns align with Eaton's strategic growth objectives.
  • Manage global marketing collaboration for a cohesive approach across the organization.
  • Balance internal and external resources based on budget and creativity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum ten (10) years of marketing communications and/or product management experience.
  • Minimum two (2) years of managerial experience.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's or advanced degree.
  • Experience developing and executing global strategy.
  • Knowledge of integrated campaign development.
  • Experience with message map creation.
  • Experience in the automotive, commercial vehicle, aftermarket, and/or distribution industry.
