About the position

HigherEchelon is seeking motivated Model Based Operations Research Analysts to support the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Systems Engineering Department team in Patuxent River, MD. This role involves applying scientific, mathematical, and statistical methodologies to analyze technological problems related to engineering and scientific development of processes, systems, and equipment. The position is available at Junior, Journeyman, and Senior levels, contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities

• Apply scientific, mathematic, and statistical methodologies to the study and analysis of technological problems.
• Use mathematical and computerized modeling and other analytical techniques to design procedures for experiments, tests, and evaluations on weapons systems or equipment.

Requirements

• Recent and relevant Systems Engineering experience with Model-Based Engineering applications and technology.
• Experience using MBSE Tools, such as Cameo System Modeler, Cameo Enterprise Architect, Teamwork Cloud, and Cameo Collaborator.
• Experience with MBSE practices.
• Experience with how system requirements, design, analysis, verification and validation activities are enabled by MBSE across the digital thread.
• Experience with systems engineering and model-based methodologies.
• Experience with the use of SysML.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Minimum of an active Secret Security Clearance is required; Top Secret required for Senior position.
