About The Position

The position involves supporting the Model Risk Management program within the Bancorp by assisting the Senior Model Process Governance Analyst. The role focuses on coordinating model validation needs, maintaining model documentation, and ensuring data integrity through audits and regulatory reviews. The individual will work closely with various Lines of Business to ensure effective controls are in place for model governance and risk management.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to initiate tasks and manage multiple tasks and roles.
• Desire and ability to learn the basics of model validation controls and governance in Risk Management areas (Credit Risk, Market Risk, and Operational Risk).

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating model validation needs.
• Maintain the Model Inventory.
• Maintain the Model Issue Tracking Database.
• Collect and maintain supporting model documentation from model owners.
• Review results of audits and regulatory reviews to verify source system data integrity.
• Partner with Lines of Business to verify controls such as BCP, DRP, Security, Change Management, and Ongoing Monitoring.
• Collect evidence of ongoing monitoring by model owners/users.
• Attend Model Risk Management Council meetings and prepare notes and updates for the Capital Committee.
• Compile reports including findings from quantitative analysts.
• Assist with other projects/tasks as assigned.
