About the position

Modis is seeking a Strong .NET Programmer with robust MVS skills for a long-term contract opportunity with our client located in Rancho Cordova, CA. The ideal candidate will possess a degree and demonstrate proficiency in ASP.NET MVC and full MS stack development. This role requires the ability to design and develop new systems by configuring new hardware and software, or by utilizing existing systems in innovative ways to achieve different outcomes. The candidate will be expected to leverage a variety of programming concepts, technologies, and tools to deliver high-quality software solutions. The successful candidate will engage in multi-tier development, utilizing technologies such as C#, ASP.NET, and MVC 4. They will be responsible for programming within the IIS and .NET Framework 4.0, as well as SQL 2008 R2. The role also involves digital signature programming, LINQ, and working with Visual Studio 2012. The candidate will develop ASP.NET Single Page Applications and WCF Service Applications, ensuring compliance with HTML 5.0 and ADA standards. In addition, the candidate will work with various JavaScript libraries including Jscript, JQuery, Knockout, Durandal, Breeze, and Modernizr, as well as Bootstrap for CSS 3. They will utilize SignalR library and OData Protocol, and work with Hot Towel Application Template. Familiarity with TFS 2010, MS-Office Suite, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Excel Macros, SharePoint, XML, RLD language, and Web API is also essential. The candidate should be a self-starter, assertive, and collaborative, with excellent communication skills. Experience with state consulting and leadership will be advantageous.
