About the position

Modis is seeking a Strong .NET Programmer with MVS skills for a long-term contract position in Rancho Cordova, CA. The role involves designing and developing new systems, configuring hardware and software, and utilizing various programming technologies and tools to achieve different outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full MS stack development and multi-tier development, along with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new systems by configuring new hardware and software.
• Utilize existing systems in new ways to accomplish additional or different outcomes.
• Implement programming concepts and technologies including C#, ASP .Net, and MVC 4.
• Develop applications using IIS and .NET Framework 4.0.
• Program SQL 2008 R2 and create digital signature programming.
• Utilize LINQ and Visual Studio 2012 for application development.
• Create ASP .Net Single Page Applications and WCF Service Applications.
• Ensure compliance with HTML 5.0 and ADA standards.
• Develop using JavaScript, Jscript, JQuery, and various JavaScript libraries.
• Implement SignalR library and OData Protocol in applications.
• Design REST architectural systems and data collection systems.

Requirements

• Strong experience in ASP.NET MVC and full MS stack development.
• Proficiency in multi-tier development.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A degree in a relevant field is required.
• Experience with the state and consulting is preferred.
• Leadership experience is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Familiarity with SharePoint and XML RLD language.
• Knowledge of Excel Macros and TFS 2010.
