About the position

Apple is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Module Process Engineer to join our Panel Process and Optics (PPO) Engineering team. This team is at the forefront of developing innovative manufacturing process technologies that address complex design challenges, directly influencing the quality and delivery of Apple Displays and Touch technology. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the process development of advanced key process modules, guiding projects from the concept and architecture stage through to product engineering validation builds. This position demands a fast-paced, highly motivated individual who can think flexibly and solve problems beyond their immediate technical expertise. In this role, you will conduct process technology feasibility studies utilizing both theoretical simulations and practical engineering methods. You will lead the design and development of technically complex manufacturing processes, which includes material selection, parameter optimization, equipment design, metrology, and system design to support new product designs and functional requirements. Your responsibilities will also include developing processes for manufacturability, providing early and ongoing manufacturing leadership to ensure scalability of new processes, and leading PFMEA generation for new process technologies. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting failure analysis, leading root cause investigations, and developing metrology for issues related to new process technologies. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will interact cross-functionally with Product Design, Display Engineering, Display Operations, and international vendors. Staying updated on relevant industrial process and material manufacturing technical trends will also be essential to your success in this position.
