About the position
The Rubber Molder position at Humanetics Safety involves preparing and performing the molding of parts to meet production schedules while ensuring compliance with ISO standards. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Molder will be responsible for maintaining a clean workspace, documenting production activities, and assisting co-workers as needed.
Responsibilities
- Prepare molds, inserts, and hardware for molding according to work instructions and production schedules.
- Mold products following process sheets, work instructions, and prints.
- Remove products and inserts from molds and clean mold surfaces for the next use.
- Verify that products meet visual specifications and criteria.
- Accurately document activities in the company production software.
- Detect and report defects and questionable conditions to QA and supervisor.
- Weigh and mill rubber compounds as required per work instructions.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
- Contribute to work instructions related to the position.
- Assist co-workers and maintain a cooperative atmosphere.
Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
- Prior molding experience preferred.
- Prior experience with mechanical assembly/disassembly preferred.
- Ability to follow work instructions and maintain ISO compliance.
- Good basic mathematical abilities including the ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in assembly is a plus.
