About the position

The Molecular Account Executive at Diasorin is responsible for driving sales and achieving financial goals within a defined geographic territory. This role involves collaborating with the Regional Sales Director to identify market opportunities, negotiate contracts, and ensure high customer satisfaction. The executive will focus on advancing Diasorin's Molecular Diagnostics business objectives, managing customer relationships, and executing strategic business plans to meet sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure assigned territory meets or exceeds Diasorin sales objectives.
  • Work with Regional Sales Director to identify and evaluate market opportunities and sales potential.
  • Negotiate contracts with customers and drive high customer satisfaction through collaboration with support teams.
  • Achieve annual Instrument and Reagent sales objectives in targeted markets.
  • Develop, implement, and execute strategic business plans at the executive level within key accounts.
  • Lead the critical stages of the Sales Lifecycle within assigned customer base.
  • Identify opportunities through gathering key decision-making criteria and customer understanding.
  • Develop product and financial solutions for customers based on their specific goals.
  • Conduct and present workflow analysis, product information, and financial justification to create customer value.
  • Act as Diasorin's primary business consultant in leading sales activities and negotiations.
  • Support the implementation of specified product lines from order to go-live and beyond.
  • Collaborate with Molecular Applications Specialists and Strategic Accounts to grow reagent sales.
  • Build and manage customer relationships within assigned geography.
  • Prepare accurate Salesforce.com forecasts and account data, as well as territory business plans and sales reports.
  • Meet or exceed annual revenue goals by developing and executing regional business plans.
  • Demonstrate ownership and accountability in coordinating Diasorin resources to achieve objectives.
  • Lead the development of key stakeholder relationships that enhance customer value.
  • Direct the development and implementation of territory strategies and tactics for growth.
  • Develop long-term customer alliances to support capital sales activities.
  • Work with the Mdx Regional Sales Director and Strategic Account team to define territory strategies.
  • Act as project manager for sales and marketing activities with Diasorin customers.
  • Promote, price, and position Diasorin's molecular portfolio.
  • Execute customer experiences and events to drive market development.
  • Assist Regional Marketing with strategic positioning for competitive advantage.
  • Satisfy administrative requirements on time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A./B.S. required, B.S. preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in healthcare related field (diagnostics, pharmaceutical, or consulting).
  • At least 3 - 5 years combined experience in sales and marketing (Molecular preferred).
  • Demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Familiarity with key accounts in defined territory and established relationships with key opinion leaders.
  • Knowledge of market and industry drivers.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a solid track record of building relationships.
  • Ability to excel in planning, organization, and project management.
