We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Molecular Biologist to join our research team. The Molecular Biologist will play a vital role in investigating the molecular mechanisms of biological processes, utilizing advanced techniques in molecular biology, genetics, and biochemistry. The successful candidate will contribute to projects aimed at understanding cellular functions, disease mechanisms, and the development of therapeutic strategies. This position requires a strong background in molecular biology and a passion for research, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. The Molecular Biologist will be responsible for planning and designing experiments to study molecular mechanisms of gene expression, protein function, and cellular processes. This includes performing a variety of molecular biology techniques such as PCR, RT-PCR, cloning, restriction enzyme digestion, gel electrophoresis, RNA/DNA extraction, and qPCR. The candidate will analyze and interpret experimental data, utilizing statistical tools and bioinformatics software to draw meaningful conclusions from their research. In addition to conducting experiments, the Molecular Biologist will maintain detailed and organized records of experiments, results, and methodologies in compliance with regulatory and safety standards. They will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of scientists, sharing ideas and contributing to project discussions. The role also involves preparing manuscripts for publication and presenting research findings at meetings and conferences. The successful candidate will identify and resolve experimental challenges, optimizing protocols as necessary, and provide guidance and training to junior staff and students in laboratory techniques and research methodologies.
