About the position

The Momentum Trainer position at CGI involves supporting a significant Momentum ERP upgrade at a large federal agency. The role requires an experienced trainer who is skilled in requirements gathering, business process modeling, and the creation and execution of training materials. The trainer will work within a dynamic team to develop and implement training initiatives, ensuring effective knowledge transfer to end users. This position offers opportunities for professional growth in project management and client management, with potential paths to senior subject matter expert or team lead roles.

Responsibilities

  • Work on a team of trainers deploying effective training techniques based on best practices.
  • Creation and development of training materials, including presentations, job aids, and electronic learning modules.
  • Assist in the development, review, maintenance, and consistency of training deliverables.
  • Gather requirements using collaborative meetings with customers and stakeholders.
  • Become familiar with the client's business processes and map them to future state processes.
  • Attend internal and client stakeholder meetings.
  • Develop and update training documentation as needed.
  • Track, monitor, and resolve training risks, issues, and action items.
  • Work on cross-functional initiatives within the project lifecycle.
  • Proactively identify and propose solutions to issues.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience supporting Momentum ERP.
  • 3+ years of experience executing classroom and/or virtual training.
  • Familiarity with training users on a financial system.
  • 3+ years designing and developing training materials.
  • Strong command of MS Office tools, especially PowerPoint.
  • Experience creating eLearning content.
  • Experience working directly with clients and leading meetings.
  • Detail-oriented with issue resolution experience.
  • Strong critical/analytical thinking skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience in teamwork and thriving in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Project Management experience.
  • Experience with SharePoint.
  • Experience with ticketing systems (i.e., JIRA).
  • Experience working on major implementation/upgrade programs ($1B and above).
  • Team Leadership experience, including mentoring junior team members.
  • Risk Management skills.
