About the position

The Monday Workflow Systems Administrator will manage, configure, and optimize workflow automation within the Monday.com platform. This role is essential for tailoring Monday.com to meet organizational needs, facilitating efficient project management and communication. The administrator will collaborate with business teams to define workflows, maintain system integrations, and provide user support.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and configure the Monday.com platform, including boards, workflows, dashboards, and automations, to meet business requirements.
  • Ensure workflows and processes in Monday.com are aligned with organizational needs and follow best practices.
  • Manage user permissions, roles, and access control to maintain secure and efficient use of the system.
  • Set up and configure integrations between Monday.com and other third-party applications, such as CRM systems, email platforms, Slack, etc.
  • Design, implement, and optimize automation processes within Monday.com to improve team collaboration and task management.
  • Leverage Monday.com's automation capabilities to reduce manual effort and increase workflow efficiency.
  • Regularly review and update automations to ensure they align with evolving business processes.
  • Monitor the performance of Monday.com workflows, identifying areas for improvement or optimization.
  • Generate reports and dashboards to track project progress, team productivity, and overall performance using Monday.com analytics tools.
  • Create and maintain documentation for workflows, automations, and integrations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Prior experience with Monday.com Workflow Builder including optimization, scaling, and adoption.
  • Experience with Wrike and Smartsheet and 2+ years of experience with Monday.com or similar project management and workflow automation platforms (e.g., Asana, Trello, Jira).
  • Experience with configuring and managing workflows, automations, and integrations in Monday.com.
  • Familiarity with third-party integrations (Slack, Google Workspace, Zoom, etc.) and API-based workflows is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of workflow design principles and process automation.
  • Proficient in using Monday.com's features, including boards, columns, views, automations, and integrations.
  • Knowledge of project management practices and tools, with a focus on optimizing workflows for business processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to create clear documentation and user training materials.

Nice-to-haves

  • Monday.com Certified Administrator (or equivalent certification) is a plus.
