About the position

The LDAR Technician at HPC-Industrial is responsible for monitoring components in an industrial facility using an analyzer and electronic data recorder. This role involves calibrating equipment, identifying leaks, and ensuring compliance with company policies while maintaining good customer relations. The position emphasizes health and safety, requiring adherence to safe work practices in various industrial settings.

Responsibilities

• Use an analyzer and electronic data recorder to monitor components on an assigned route.
• Calibrate equipment to ensure optimum performance of the analyzer.
• Identify leaks and process leak tags.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
• Maintain and improve customer relations by providing quality industrial cleaning services.
• Engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting, pulling, and pushing heavy objects.
• Set up and operate automatic and/or semi-automatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation.
• Monitor meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls to ensure adherence to production/process specifications.
• Report any malfunctions or abnormalities and make adjustments and repairs to equipment.
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) waste codes, manifesting, and Land Disposal Restrictions (LDR) (preferred).
• Confined space entry and 40 Hour OSHA Training (preferred).
• Knowledge of RCRA requirements/regulations (preferred).
• Strong mechanical ability.
