About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Montessori Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding students in their academic and personal development while fostering a positive learning environment. This role requires effective communication skills, classroom management abilities, and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
• Utilize various teaching methods to cater to different learning styles, including Montessori techniques when applicable.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a conducive learning atmosphere.
• Assess student progress through standardized testing and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Collaborate with special education staff to support students with diverse needs.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance and classroom activities.
• Incorporate physical education and literacy education into the curriculum as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant documentation.

Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• Experience working with students in an educational setting is essential.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create an engaging learning environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Familiarity with standardized testing practices is beneficial.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of Montessori principles is a plus but not required.
• Experience in special education or childcare is highly desirable.
• A passion for teaching and a commitment to student success are essential qualities for this role.
