As a Toddler Spanish Immersion Associate, you will play a key role in guiding our young learners on their journey of self-discovery within a Spanish immersion environment. Paché Montessori School is located in the heart of Cobble Hill, Brooklyn. We offer an authentic Montessori experience, starting with infants as young as 3 months old up to 6-year-olds in Kindergarten, with a Spanish immersion option. We have a 25,000 square foot facility, with a rooftop playground, indoor climbing wall, and outdoor terrace. As a Toddler Spanish Immersion Associate, you will be part of a committed team of educators dedicated to creating a rich, immersive Spanish learning environment for our toddlers. Working closely with a Montessori-trained Lead Guide throughout the academic year, you will also lead the summer program, offering a variety of stimulating activities in Spanish, such as outdoor play, art, and music. Responsibilities

  • Guide toddlers in a Spanish immersion environment, fostering their growth and development.
  • Collaborate with a Montessori-trained Lead Guide to create a nurturing learning atmosphere.
  • Lead summer programs with engaging activities in Spanish, including outdoor play, art, and music.
  • Support the emotional and physical needs of toddlers in the classroom.
  • Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required; Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field desired.
  • Fluent in Spanish; native Spanish speaker preferred.
  • Previous experience in a toddler classroom or childcare setting.
  • A warm, compassionate, and patient approach to caregiving.
  • A growth mindset and problem-solving approach.
  • An interest in growing as a Montessori educator.
  • The ability to meet all physical requirements, including the ability to lift children and move classroom materials.

Nice-to-haves

  • Training from a Montessori organization or experience in a Montessori classroom is valued, but not required.
