Townsquare Media Fort Collins is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Morning Show Host and Digital Content Writer for our 99.1-FM new country brand, KUAD. This full-time, in-office position requires a passionate country music lover who is not only a strong content creator but also a community champion. The ideal candidate will be a versatile talent capable of engaging with our audience across multiple platforms, including radio and digital media. In this role, you will be responsible for hosting the daily drive program, engaging with listeners live on air from Monday to Friday. Daily show preparation is essential, as you will entertain and inform our audience through various channels, including digital content and social media. You will be expected to publish a minimum of two original local articles each day on our station's website and mobile app, as well as create engaging posts for our social media platforms. Additionally, you will conduct on-air interviews, participate in live events, and assist in producing commercials. Collaboration with the Brand Manager and Director of Content will be crucial as you work on projects aimed at enhancing our brand quality and community engagement. Responsibilities

• Host daily drive program and be live on air Monday - Friday.
• Spend time each day doing daily show prep.
• Entertain and inform the listener audience both on the air, via digital content, and social media outlets.
• Publish a minimum of 2 original local articles per day on the station website and mobile app.
• Write assigned Facebook posts along with other social media platforms.
• Conduct on-air interviews, attend and assist in all market cluster live events, and produce commercials on a daily basis.
• Conduct Live Remotes and appearances and assist in special promotions and programming activities.
• Assist Brand Manager and Director of Content on various projects aimed at improving the quality of our brands and events.
• Assist Brand Manager, Director of Content and Market President in building a high performing team that is positive and professional.
• Work with the Brand Manager to contribute to the vision, leadership, and management for the 99.1 Country Brand.
• Participate in regular strategy and brainstorming sessions with station leadership and sales team.

Requirements

• History of original written digital content or able to prove an ability to write original content.
• Knowledge of basic FCC rules and regulations.
• Ability to interact with management and staff at all levels, multi-task, and handle pressures and deadlines.
• Skill in operation of control board, remote broadcasting, and other related production equipment.
• Proficiency in Zetta and Adobe Audition.
• Computer literacy in applicable programs and excellent verbal communication skills.
• Public speaking skills and ability to interact with listeners and clients in a public setting.
• Problem-solving ability and skill in prioritizing.
