About the position

As a Mortgage Loan Officer at Veterans United Home Loans, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of borrowers by providing exceptional customer service throughout their homebuying journey. Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with clients to understand their homebuying needs and guide them through the loan process. This position requires a proactive approach, as you will be expected to communicate regularly with clients about their loan status, promptly addressing any inquiries or concerns they may have via email and phone. In addition to client communication, you will analyze borrowers' information to assess the feasibility of pre-approving and obtaining loans. This involves interviewing borrowers to gather and verify necessary information and documentation. You will also manage internal processes to ensure a timely loan application process, resolving any issues that may arise along the way. Your role will also include managing the company's social media presence and educating borrowers on the loan process and available product/service alternatives. Staying informed about company and industry guidelines and processes is essential, as is the ability to analyze and manage numbers to increase efficiencies and meet company goals. Responsibilities

  • Communicate loan status regularly with clients, responding promptly to inquiries and concerns via email and phone.
  • Analyze borrowers' information to determine feasibility of pre-approving and obtaining a loan.
