Zillow Home Loans is at the forefront of transforming the consumer mortgage experience, aiming to redefine how individuals buy, sell, and finance homes. As a rapidly growing origination team, we are looking for a ZHL Mortgage Loan Officer who will be instrumental in this transformation. In this role, you will be provided with leads on-demand, allowing you to concentrate on delivering exceptional service to your clients rather than spending time on marketing and branding efforts. We believe that prioritizing the customer experience is essential for success, and we are excited to welcome individuals who share this philosophy. As a Mortgage Loan Officer, your primary responsibility will be to originate mortgage loans while managing incoming calls from customers. You will be expected to provide outstanding customer service through timely follow-ups and professional correspondence. Building and maintaining relationships with customers and partners, such as real estate agents, will be crucial. You will analyze clients' needs to ensure compliance and maximize customer satisfaction, guiding borrowers through the loan process from inquiry to closing. This includes securing necessary financial and credit information and ensuring all documentation is in order. You will also be responsible for completing all assigned Mortgage Loan Officer Training and Licensing activities, maintaining a thorough understanding of applicable federal and state laws and regulations, and staying informed about various loan programs, including FHA, VA, Conventional, ARM, and Jumbo loans. Collaboration with team members to share best practices and successfully structuring loans for fulfillment partners will be part of your daily activities. This role is categorized as an office position, requiring employees to work at a designated ZG corporate office for approximately 80 to 100 percent of their time each month. Employees must live within a reasonable commuting distance of their designated office, which is expected to be determined using personal judgment regarding time commitment and commuting costs.
