About the position

Red Tree Mortgage is looking for a licensed Mortgage Loan Officer to join their direct sales team. This role involves proactively originating new residential mortgage business through inbound and outbound calls from company-generated marketing leads. The position offers high conversion ratios due to wholesale rates and provides loan officers with dedicated processing support.

Responsibilities

• Proactively originate new residential mortgage business through inbound/outbound calls.
• Build rapport and leverage customer relationships with existing and potential borrowers.
• Analyze customers' financial situations and advise on appropriate loan products.
• Request initial documents from customers and submit a paperless loan package to production staff.
• Structure and price loans accurately.
• Create and post marketing materials on social media.

Requirements

• MLO License is required.
• 1+ years of mortgage and sales experience.
• 1+ years of full-time purchase and/or refinance loan origination experience, preferably in a call center environment.
• Strong desire to succeed in a sales environment and be a top producer.
• Ability to structure and price loans accurately.
• Complete knowledge of conventional and government loan programs (purchase and refinance).
• Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship skills.
• Self-motivated and self-starting professional.
