About the position

The Mortgage Loan Officer (NonQM) position at New Silver involves working in a hybrid environment to assist real estate investors by providing fast, convenient, and flexible capital solutions. The role focuses on sales, client interaction, and guiding borrowers through the loan process, particularly with the DSCR loan product. The ideal candidate is motivated by results and enjoys a fast-paced work environment, with a strong emphasis on customer service and relationship building.

Responsibilities

• Understand and clearly explain New Silver's value proposition, pricing, and process.
• Drive sales with a consultative approach.
• Meet and beat monthly sales goals (expected origination volume $5mm+ per month).
• Build relationships with borrowers and earn repeat business.
• Speak with borrowers on the phone, via email, and SMS.
• Be available after 5pm and have flexibility to accommodate clients.
• Ability to spend 1-2 days per week in the West Hartford office.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 1+ years of successful professional experience as a mortgage loan officer
• Highly motivated, sales and results driven
• NMLS license preferred but not required
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction
• Experience with office technology such as Microsoft Office and G-Suite
• Outstanding verbal and written skills that enable you to provide an excellent customer experience with borrowers and business partners.
