About the position

The Mortgage Loan Officer at Citizens is responsible for identifying, developing, and maintaining a network of business relationships to generate new mortgage lending opportunities. This role emphasizes exceptional customer service, sales achievement, and community involvement to promote home ownership. The Loan Officer will interview customers to assess their loan needs, advise on suitable products, and ensure compliance with mortgage application procedures while meeting sales goals.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience in residential mortgage sales preferred.
• Three plus years of retail residential mortgage sales experience.
• Documented residential mortgage loan volume in the past 12 months of $12 million (minimum).
• Established relationships with local referral networks.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, across a variety of audiences.
• Strong computer skills and experience utilizing laptop technology.
• Must meet and comply with all requirements set forth in the SAFE Act.
