About the position

As a Mortgage Loan Officer at PNC, you will play a crucial role in managing customer relationships and recommending loan solutions that align with lending guidelines and client requirements. This position is primarily based in New Jersey and involves both in-office and fieldwork, with some responsibilities that can be performed remotely. You will be responsible for developing new client relationships, managing a portfolio of existing customers, and ensuring compliance with documentation requirements while collaborating with various stakeholders to facilitate mortgage transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Recommends loan solutions in accordance with lending guidelines and clients' requirements.
  • Manages a portfolio of customer relationships.
  • Seeks prospective opportunities to retain and/or develop new clients.
  • Responsible for sales calls and developing loan solutions.
  • Prepares and reviews documentation to ensure compliance.
  • Manages customer pipeline for efficiency.
  • Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to complete mortgage transactions.
  • Collects and analyzes customer financial information for multifaceted and/or complex borrowers.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of banking products and mortgage solutions.
  • Experience in client prospecting and managing customer relationships.
  • Strong communication and financial analysis skills.
  • Ability to assess and manage risks associated with business objectives.
  • University/college degree preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with sales tasks and activities related to mortgages.
  • Familiarity with effective communication and customer experience management.
