About the position

We are looking for passionate individuals who want to help Vermonters achieve their homeownership dreams through creative lending solutions. This role offers the backing of Vermont's premier mortgage operation, local decision-making authority, and a full suite of lending solutions. You will assist first-time buyers with VHFA programs, structure construction loans, and craft portfolio solutions for unique situations, empowering you to say 'yes' when others say 'no.'
Responsibilities

- Network and develop business relationships
- Educate and guide clients through the homebuying journey
Requirements
- Dynamic self-starter with a focus on networking and business development
- Deep roots in Vermont mortgage lending, especially with state housing programs
- Proven track record of building lasting relationships with realtors and housing professionals
- Ability to find creative solutions beyond traditional qualification methods
- Experience with construction lending, Down Payment assistant grant/loans, VHFA, FHA, VA, and Rural Development programs
