About the position

MortgageTree Lending is seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Officer to join their team in San Dimas, CA. This part-time position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment with seasoned professionals, including a branch manager with over 30 years of experience. The role focuses on loan origination and requires a commitment to helping clients navigate the mortgage process effectively.

Responsibilities

• Originate and process mortgage loans from application to funding.
• Collaborate with an in-house marketing team to generate leads and nurture client relationships.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and other relevant laws.
• Conduct credit analysis and assess borrower qualifications.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the loan process.

Requirements

• MLO License required.
• Minimum of 2 years of loan officer experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in underwriting and loan origination.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations.
• Strong credit analysis skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Total Expert (CRM) and Encompass 360.
• Familiarity with MBS Highway and mobile media marketing strategies.
