About the position

As a Mortgage Loan Officer at PNC, you will play a crucial role in managing customer relationships and recommending loan solutions that align with lending guidelines and client requirements. This position is primarily based in New Jersey and involves both in-office and fieldwork, with some responsibilities that can be performed remotely. You will be responsible for developing new client relationships, managing a portfolio of existing clients, and collaborating with various stakeholders to facilitate mortgage transactions.

Responsibilities

• Recommends loan solutions in accordance with lending guidelines and clients' requirements.
• Manages a portfolio of customer relationships.
• Seeks prospective opportunities to retain and/or develop new clients.
• Responsible for sales calls and developing loan solutions.
• Prepares and reviews documentation to ensure compliance.
• Manages customer pipeline for efficiency.
• Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to complete mortgage transactions.
• Collects and analyzes customer financial information for multifaceted and/or complex borrowers.

Requirements

• University/college degree preferred.
• Knowledge of banking products and client prospecting.
• Experience in managing customer relationships and providing customer solutions.
• Strong documentation skills and understanding of mortgages.
• Sales competencies including effective communication and financial analysis.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in loan origination and matrix management.
• Familiarity with mortgage products and sales tasks.
