About the position

As a Mortgage Loan Originator (Loan Officer) at US Mortgage Corporation, you will play a crucial role in the mortgage lending process by directly soliciting, originating, and supervising mortgage loans from application to closing. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers in navigating the loan application process, providing them with expert advice on loan interest rates and options that best suit their financial needs. You will be expected to represent the company positively through various means of communication, including advertising, business cards, and promotional materials, ensuring that potential clients are aware of the services you can provide as a Mortgage Loan Originator. In addition to originating loans, you will be responsible for researching, developing, and implementing innovative marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones. Building and maintaining strong referral relationships with previous clients, realtors, accountants, financial planners, builders, and developers will be essential to your success in this role. You will also be tasked with collecting and distributing necessary information to the company's Processing and Underwriting Department, ensuring that all loans are originated in compliance with the company's policies, federal, state, and local laws, as well as investor guidelines. Your role will require you to maintain meticulous documentation of all loan processes, ensuring that all records are readily available for inspection by the company. You will need to communicate any incidents or concerns regarding illegal or unethical behavior promptly. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring that all marketing and advertising efforts are pre-approved by the company and comply with relevant regulations, including the Do Not Call list. You will also be expected to use corporate email for all official communications and advise borrowers on the most suitable financing options without bias towards maximizing compensation. Responsibilities

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Mortgage Loan Originator or similar role.
• Strong understanding of mortgage lending processes and regulations.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
