About the position

The Mortgage Manager is responsible for overseeing the mortgage operations within the branch, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and managing relationships with large production builders and real estate brokerage offices. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to train staff on mortgage programs and guidelines. The position is hybrid, allowing for both remote and in-person work, and involves significant interaction with branch employees and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Manage the mortgage operations within the branch.
• Train staff on mortgage programs and guidelines.
• Oversee pipeline management and ensure effective communication with branch employees and external partners.
• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations affecting the mortgage industry.
• Develop and maintain relationships with large production builders and real estate brokerage offices.
• Utilize complex problem-solving and critical thinking for underwriting escalations.
• Provide public relations and sales support as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of industry-related experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Experience in project management is desired.
• Strong relationship management skills are desired.
• Excellent knowledge of laws and regulations impacting the mortgage industry.
• Strong administrative and managerial skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Encompass Automation Systems such as Monday.com.
• Familiarity with mortgage CRM systems.
