About the position
The Mortgage Occupancy Field Inspector role involves conducting residential property inspections on behalf of mortgage lenders. This part-time position offers a flexible schedule, allowing independent contractors to earn weekly pay while verifying property occupancy and reporting on general property conditions.
Responsibilities
- Perform residential property inspections for mortgage lenders.
- Determine property occupancy based on industry standards.
- Report general property conditions and document findings using a mobile app.
- Communicate consistently with the inspection manager via text, email, and phone.
- Manage time efficiently to complete inspections within a 3-5 day turnaround time.
Requirements
- Valid US driver's license.
- Experience with Aspen Grove ABC#.
- Access to a computer with an internet connection.
- Fuel-efficient vehicle for travel.
- Smartphone (iPhone or Android) for using inspection apps.
- Printer and office supplies (paper, envelopes, ink).
- Availability during daylight hours.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience using industry-standard smartphone apps like InspectorADE, EZ Inspections, or SafeView inspect.
- Experience conducting occupancy inspections.
