As a DTC Mortgage Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for completing the requisite loan file due diligence to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to all company guidelines. You will utilize your superior written and oral communication skills to obtain any third-party documentation needed to complete required tasks. The team will work closely with Processing, Sales, and NewRez approved vendors to ensure that all loans in assigned processing pipelines are facilitated through the loan manufacturing process. Our focus on borrower experience is paramount, and you will play a key role in maintaining daily workflow prioritization and performing due diligence to ensure that assigned loan activities are completed in a quality, timely, and efficient manner. You will communicate with all third parties involved in the loan process and collaborate with our internal departments, including Underwriting, Secondary, Closing, and Post-Closing. This role requires the ability to communicate clearly with all customers and complete Mortgage Operations Specialist (Jr Processing) activities pursuant to established systemic conditions. You will also utilize the NewRez reporting platform to manage and perform pipeline-related task activities, ensuring that all files are completed in accordance with established Service Level Agreements. For those in the DTC Mortgage Operations Specialist role, there will be opportunities to train for Processing, Closing, and/or Underwriting. This position is centralized on-site at our Fort Washington, PA location.
