About the position

The Mortgage Servicing Specialist plays a crucial role in the Home Loan Servicing Department by ensuring timely and accurate completion of daily, weekly, and monthly servicing and investor reporting. This position involves sourcing, compiling, and interpreting key loan information while adhering to established policies and procedures. The specialist is responsible for loan onboarding, maintaining the security of loan files, enhancing member experience, and resolving issues through effective problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure monthly reconciliations, quarterly call reporting, and billings are completed promptly and in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Coordinate and address any issues and concerns that affect the reporting and balancing of investor data or other areas of accountability.
• Act as a backup for various other servicing positions as needed, including assisting with customer service calls.

Requirements

• 1 Year residential servicing and/or lending experience required.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• MS Word, Excel, Outlook proficiency required.
• Possess a service-oriented mindset.

Nice-to-haves

• 1 Year insurance related experience preferred.
• General knowledge of RESPA, Truth in Lending, SCRA, and Escrow guidelines preferred.
• Knowledge of Fannie Mae servicing guidelines preferred.
