About The Position

The Mortgage Systems Administrator is responsible for performing day-to-day troubleshooting, deploying system updates, testing and coordinating new feature rollouts, and identifying new opportunities within the application to meet Credit Union growth and strategic goals. This position can be located in either Pocatello or Boise.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required. A degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Business preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience with relevant mortgage systems or 2+ mortgage industry experience required.
  • Encompass system experience preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience working in projects, troubleshooting systems, and/or loan applications required.
  • Encompass Administrator Certification or other mortgage/IT certifications preferred.
  • Jira, Agile, and/or other project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively resolve day-to-day system issues working with team members and 3rd party vendors.
  • Support the release process starting from development work to post-production rollout support.
  • Create and maintain system related documentation.
  • Ensure that budgets are adhered to, and deadlines are met.
  • Plan and work flexibly to meet deadlines.
  • Learn and maintain knowledge for mortgage systems, mortgage industry, and business processes.
  • Perform system administration tasks including but not limited to:
  • Comply with change and vendor management.
  • Perform audits.
  • Adapt quickly to changes.
  • Adhere to set service level agreements and thrive in a game of work environment.
  • Translate business requests to technical requirements.
  • Create and propose solutions to business needs and issues.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external business partners.
  • Work with different IT Teams to troubleshoot issues and execute projects.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.
