The Mortuary Attendant will be involved in various tasks that include the proper handling and storage of bodies, maintaining mortuary records, and ensuring that the mortuary vehicle and equipment are sanitized and clean. The position requires a compassionate individual who can handle sensitive situations with professionalism and care. The Mortuary Attendant will be responsible for picking up deceased persons from various locations, including hospital wards, medical facilities, and private homes. This includes driving the mortuary vehicle to transport the deceased and ensuring that all necessary identification and documentation are completed accurately. The role also involves preparing the body for viewing by relatives and friends, which requires attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the dignity of the deceased.
