About the position
The Motor Coach Operator is responsible for safely transporting passengers to various destinations while providing excellent customer service. This role involves operating motor coaches, ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers, and adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate motor coaches to transport passengers to designated locations.
- Provide excellent customer service to passengers during their journey.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking from the vehicle.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with passenger endorsement.
- Proven experience as a bus or motor coach operator.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to handle unexpected situations calmly and effectively.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in long-distance driving.
- Familiarity with the local area and routes.
