About the position

The Move-In Coordinator at MBK Senior Living plays a crucial role in facilitating the move-in process for new residents. This position is primarily focused on assisting the Director of Sales in managing leads, conducting tours, and ensuring a smooth admission process while adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies. The role emphasizes building relationships, providing exceptional service, and contributing to a supportive community environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Director of Sales with managing all leads, including calling prospects and conducting tours (approx. 80% of responsibility)
  • Perform clerical work in the Sales and Marketing Department, including preparing admission paperwork and community collateral (approx. 10% of responsibility)
  • Assist the Director of Sales with event preparation (approx. 5% of responsibility)
  • Attend morning staff meetings in the absence of the Director of Sales to inform staff of projected move-ins, move-outs, and transfers
  • Promote teamwork and cooperation in accordance with MBK principles and core values
  • Highlight community qualities compared to competition as needed
  • Maintain collateral inventory and order supplies as indicated

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
  • Background clearances as required by government regulations
  • Complete a health screening and provide negative TB test results (must be within the last 6 months or within 7 days of employment)
  • Basic math skills for tracking move-ins, tours, and preparing reports
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to speak, write, and read in English
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment and software, including Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Ability to make independent decisions and remain calm during stressful situations
  • Ability to deal tactfully and professionally with personnel, residents, family members, and guests

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in sales or customer service
  • Familiarity with lead management systems
  • Previous experience in a senior living or healthcare environment
