Responsibilities

• Transport furniture and other items from one location to another safely and efficiently.
• Prepare items for packaging and shipment according to company standards.
• Load goods for shipping, including appropriate packing of pallets and crating.
• Perform various warehouse operations such as receiving, storing, and shipping products.
• Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Maintain a clean work area and observe company safety standards.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 150 pounds and carry heavy boxes and furniture repeatedly.
• Fluency in English for effective communication with team and customers.
• Basic knowledge of furniture assembly and disassembly.
• Effective communication skills when interacting with clients and fellow movers.
• Ability to use hand tools and packaging products.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous mover experience or custom crating and packaging experience is preferred.
• Problem-solving skills for on-the-spot decision making.
• Meticulousness in packing and loading furniture for safe transportation.
