About the position
As a Mover / Driver / Crew Member at College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving, you will be the first point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service while assisting with moving and junk removal tasks. This role offers both part-time and full-time hours, with a starting pay of $15 per hour plus tips, and the potential to earn up to $28 per hour. You will be responsible for ensuring client satisfaction, safely operating the vehicle, and making logistical decisions during the job.
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and professional customer service to clients.
- Educate clients about pricing and services before giving estimates.
- Safely operate the moving truck and ensure it is stocked with necessary supplies.
- Make logistical decisions regarding disposal, donation, and recycling of items.
- Assist in training new hires on operations and core values.
- Complete daily checklists and check in with supervisors for additional tasks.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid Driver's License (Non-CDL Class C).
- Delivery driver experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation to work.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in moving and driving (1 year preferred).
- Experience in junk removal (1 year preferred).
