About the position
As a Part-Time Mover/Helper at Olympia Moving & Storage, you will play a crucial role in our operations, ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of service during their moving experience. This position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $18.00 to $22.00, depending on your experience, with the potential to earn additional income through tips and overtime. The role requires physical stamina, as you will be on your feet for extended periods and may need to lift heavy items regularly. Responsibilities
- Represent Olympia Moving professionally at all times.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Safely pack household items for residential moves according to best practices.
- Dismantle and set up office workstations, including computers and electronics.
- Perform lifting and push bins for commercial projects.
- Protect furniture, locations, and equipment with moving pads.
- Receive ongoing training and opportunities for growth within the company.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Reliable transportation to branch location for on-time arrival.
- Authorization to work in the United States for any employer.
- Willingness to undergo a criminal background investigation.
- Above average energy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift 50-75+ pounds regularly.
- Ability to be on your feet for 6 to 10 hours a day.
- Must be a team player and ready to tackle any challenge.
- Available for early morning dispatch (4:30-6:00 a.m. starts).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
