About the position

The MPOS Developer role involves leading and managing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce/Retail support projects, focusing on enhancements, deployments, and troubleshooting of MPOS systems. The position requires extensive experience in D365 Commerce implementations and support, with a strong emphasis on client interaction and stakeholder management. The developer will work in a flexible environment, addressing critical production issues as they arise, particularly during night shifts.

Responsibilities

  • D365 HQ Enhancements (Code Fixes, Configuration) and testing in multiple environments and performing regression testing
  • MPOS, HQ and CSU deployment for changes, fixes and upgrades
  • MPOS (frontend) support
  • MPOS API Interfaces support
  • MPOS Customizations and extensions support and future enhancements
  • D365 HQ Interface support to with Client's Revenue Accounting systems
  • MPOS upgrades, enhancements (configuration, code fixes) and mass deployment across store network
  • Configuration and troubleshooting of POS setup that includes printers, customer display, scanners, hardware station, MPOS
  • Testing and Release management
  • Perform root cause analysis for issues
  • Creating or updating Technical design documents
  • Good at client interactions, able to set and manage stakeholder expectation
  • Ability to manage requirements or scope and risks appropriately
  • Ability to identify risks, issues, find solution and plan or manage them

Requirements

  • 11+ years of experience in leading and managing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce / Retail support projects
  • Experience of D365 Commerce / AX 20212 Retail implementations and support
  • Experience of rollouts, deployments, upgrades
  • Experience of code / fix push to EMPOS
  • Experience of setting up new stores, store migrations
  • Experience of SLA based support
  • Experience of configuration and troubleshooting of POS setup that includes printers, customer display, scanners, hardware station, MPOS
  • Experience of working on incident management tools like ServiceNow
  • Good exposure to Finance & SCM domains and industry knowledge
  • Ability to manage requirements/scope and risks appropriately
  • Ability to identify risks, issues, find solution and plan/manage them
  • Good presentation and communication skills
  • Good experience of working in multi-vendor environment
  • Should be okay with Onsite-Offshore Global Delivery Model
