About the position

The MPT Global Network Developer Intern position at Daimler Truck North America offers an opportunity for interns to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment. Interns will support the development of global structures for upcoming product projects, particularly in Battery and HDEP engine technologies, while collaborating with teams in Germany and Detroit. This internship is designed to provide real-life learning opportunities and may lead to a full-time position based on performance and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Global Material and Process Technology Governance and Management teams to drive department projects.
• Support various planned global powertrain product project teams through departmental and cross-functional project meetings.
• Develop and implement collaboration models with business partners to coordinate Material and Process Technologies support.
• Create training materials to educate business partners on Material Process Technology topics.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's/PhD Program from an accredited college/university or graduated within the last 12 months.
• Engineering background, preferably in material science.
• Basic knowledge of project management.
• Flexibility to work across time zones.
• Basic German language skills are helpful.
• Proficient in Office365 applications.
• Ability to summarize meeting results effectively.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Solid organizational skills and a creative mindset.
• Interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
